Lector RFID SystemHouse Solutions SCR-S G2 Mini Mullion (modelo 44280390)

The SystemHouse Solutions SCR‑S G2 Mini Mullion is a compact RFID reader designed for installation on narrow door profiles and mullions. Its small form factor allows reliable card and tag detection in tight spaces while maintaining the core functionality required for access control systems. The reader is suitable for mounting next to frames, on narrow posts or in retrofit setups where standard-sized readers do not fit.

Advantages

The Mini Mullion reader offers a reduced footprint that preserves reading performance in constrained mounting locations. Its construction supports straightforward integration with existing access control wiring and controllers. The design focuses on practical installation: low-profile housing, consistent read range for compatible credentials, and stable operation for frequent door entry points. The reader’s shape and mounting orientation minimize visual impact while providing the RFID functionality needed for controlled entry.

Suitable for

• Access control on narrow door frames and mullions
• Retrofit installations where space is limited
• Office entrances, residential buildings and small commercial sites
• Door-mounted readers for single-door access points

Key specifications

• Compact mullion form factor for narrow-profile mounting
• RFID reading capability compatible with standard access credentials
• Low-profile housing designed for door-frame and mullion installation
• Wiring terminals for integration with access control systems
• Durable construction suitable for indoor mounting at entry points

How to use

Install the reader on the mullion or narrow profile adjacent to the door using the recommended screws and mounting template. Connect the reader to your access control panel following the controller manufacturer’s wiring diagram and confirm power and data connections. Enroll credentials via the access control system so that the reader can authenticate cards or tags. Test read range and orientation by presenting authorized credentials at typical user heights to ensure consistent detection.

Recommendations

Mount the reader where the credential will be presented parallel to the reader surface to maximize read reliability; avoid placing metal obstructions directly between the credential and the reader. For retrofit projects verify cable routing and available backbox depth before final mounting. Use the reader with compatible access control hardware and keep firmware and controller configurations up to date per system vendor guidance.
