In a busy data center, technicians need a patch panel that simplifies cable management and ensures reliable connections. The METZ CONNECT 130920-E is a 1U 24-port patch panel designed for 19-inch racks, providing a clean and organized solution for high-density network environments. Its empty frame accepts METZ CONNECT C6Amodul modules, supporting Cat.6A, Cat.6, and Cat.5e performance, making it adaptable to various network speeds and future upgrades.

Key specifications

• 24 empty ports for METZ CONNECT C6Amodul modules (Cat.6A/6/5e)
• 1U height, 19-inch rack mountable
• 90° angled outlet direction for improved cable routing
• Robust steel sheet construction with powder coating, light grey (RAL 7035)
• Designed for shielded modules, includes grounding bolt and cable
• Integrated rear cable tie shelf and front labeling fields
• Operating temperature: -40°C to +70°C, humidity 10% to 90% non-condensing

Why choose it

This patch panel offers exceptional flexibility: install only the modules you need, when you need them. The 90° angled outlets reduce cable bend radius and improve airflow, while the integrated grounding ensures signal integrity in shielded installations. The durable steel construction withstands demanding environments, and the light grey finish blends seamlessly with standard rack equipment.

Ideal use cases

• Data centers requiring modular, scalable copper patching
• Server rooms with limited space needing high port density
• Office networks upgrading to Cat.6A or Cat.6 performance
• Structured cabling systems in industrial or commercial buildings

Good to know

The panel ships empty; modules are sold separately. It is compatible with all METZ CONNECT C6Amodul variants, including shielded and unshielded versions. Installation is straightforward with standard rack screws (not included). The labeling fields allow clear port identification, reducing troubleshooting time. For best performance, use with METZ CONNECT patch cables and modules.
