Monitor Acer CB343CUR (UM.CB3EE.013) 34 pulgadas 21:9 3440x1440 WQHD LCD, 4 ms, altavoces integrados, hub USB, altura ajustable, VESA, negro

The Acer CB343CUR is a 34" (86.4 cm) ultrawide curved LCD monitor with a 21:9 aspect ratio and 3440 × 1440 WQHD resolution. The VA panel provides wide 178° viewing angles and a higher contrast ratio typical for VA technology. The screen supports a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz and a 4 ms gray-to-gray response time, with a 1 ms MPRT figure for reduced motion blur. The display includes built-in stereo speakers and an integrated USB hub, and its ergonomic stand offers up to 15 cm of height adjustment. The chassis is VESA-mount compatible for alternative mounting setups.

Advantages

The ultrawide 21:9 format and 3440×1440 resolution increase horizontal workspace, enabling wider timelines, side-by-side documents, and expanded multitasking without multiple displays. The curved VA panel improves perceived immersion and reduces edge distortion for a more consistent viewing experience across the wide screen. A 120 Hz refresh capability combined with a 4 ms response time and 1 ms MPRT supports smoother motion in video playback and interactive content. Built-in speakers and a USB hub reduce the need for extra peripherals, while the height-adjustable stand and VESA compatibility provide flexible placement options.

Suitable for

• Office productivity: large spreadsheets, document editing, and multitasking
• Creative work: photo and video timelines where extra horizontal space is beneficial
• Multimedia consumption: movies and streams in an ultrawide format
• Casual and competitive gaming where wide field of view and higher refresh rate help gameplay

When it may not be suitable

This monitor may not be ideal for users who require the absolute fastest pixel response for professional esports at the highest competitive level, or for workflows that demand color-critical accuracy out of the box — VA panels typically have different color performance than high-end IPS reference panels. Also, the ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio can cause compatibility or letterboxing issues with some older software and games that expect 16:9 ratios.

How to use

Place the monitor on a stable desk surface or attach it to a VESA-compatible arm or bracket. Connect a video source via HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort to achieve the desired resolution and refresh rate; ensure your graphics card and cable support 3440×1440 at up to 120 Hz. Use the on-screen display (OSD) menu to adjust brightness, contrast, color mode, and input selection. The USB hub provides convenient peripheral connections; plug USB devices into the hub and connect its upstream cable to the PC. Adjust the stand height for comfortable eye level and tilt as needed to reduce glare. For clearer audio, position the monitor so built-in speakers face the listening area.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm your graphics card and cables support 3440×1440 at the desired refresh rate (HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort compatibility).
• Consider whether a VA panel’s contrast and color characteristics meet your color-accuracy needs; color-critical work may require calibration or a specialist panel.
• Measure desk space and check VESA compatibility if you plan to mount the monitor.
• Evaluate whether the built-in speakers meet your audio quality expectations or if external speakers/headphones are preferred.

Recommendations

For best results, use a high-quality HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort cable, enable the appropriate refresh-rate setting in your system display options, and calibrate color settings if accurate color reproduction is required. Position the monitor at arm’s length and adjust height so the top third of the screen is near eye level to reduce neck strain during extended use.
