Monitor gaming GIGABYTE GS27F2 27" FHD – 1920 x 1080, 240 Hz, 1 ms, 300 cd/m², FreeSync, HDR Ready, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4

The 27" GIGABYTE GS27F2 is a Full HD (1920 × 1080) gaming monitor built around a SuperSpeed IPS (SS-IPS) LCD panel. With a 240 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time, the display is designed to render fast-moving scenes with reduced motion blur. The panel provides typical brightness of 300 cd/m², 178° viewing angles and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The GS27F2 supports AMD FreeSync and is HDR Ready. Physical design is a flat 27-inch screen in black with VESA mounting support for flexible desk or wall installation. Connectivity includes HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 for modern GPU compatibility.

Advantages

The monitor combines a high refresh rate and low response time to reduce visible ghosting and tearing in competitive games, while the SS-IPS panel maintains wide viewing angles and consistent color reproduction. A color saturation of 115% sRGB and 8-bit color depth support clearer, more accurate tones for gaming and everyday use. Energy consumption figures and efficiency class ratings are provided for predictable power usage. The flat screen and VESA compatibility make mounting and ergonomic placement straightforward.

Suitable for

• Competitive and fast-paced gaming where high refresh rate and low latency matter
• Everyday multimedia consumption and web browsing on a 27" FHD display
• Dual- or multi-monitor setups requiring VESA mounting and standard video inputs
• Users seeking a budget-conscious monitor with HDR Ready capability and FreeSync support

Connect a compatible video source using DisplayPort 1.4 for maximum refresh rate and feature support or HDMI 2.0 where required. Enable AMD FreeSync in both the monitor OSD and the graphics card settings to reduce tearing. Configure Windows or your GPU driver to run the display at 1920 × 1080 resolution and 240 Hz refresh rate. Adjust tilt and position for comfortable viewing and set brightness and color settings through the on-screen display menu to match ambient lighting.

Recommendations

For competitive gaming, use DisplayPort 1.4 and confirm the graphics driver and game settings are set to 240 Hz. If HDR content is used, enable HDR mode and adjust brightness to avoid clipping in bright scenes. Regularly update GPU drivers and the monitor firmware (if available) to maintain compatibility and performance. Avoid exposing the screen to direct sunlight for extended periods to preserve panel longevity.
