Broca helicoidal de metal duro integral 7,00 mm, 5xD, recubierta de TiAlN, DIN 6537L

Precision drilling in demanding materials starts with the right geometry and a coating that can take the heat. This solid carbide drill bit pairs a 140° point with a TiAlN top layer, so it bites cleanly into steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals without wandering or work-hardening the hole. The 5xD depth ratio and 53 mm flute length give you enough reach for most through-holes and blind holes, while the h7 shank tolerance keeps runout low in hydraulic or shrink-fit holders.

Highlights

• Solid carbide (VHM) body for rigidity and long tool life
• TiAlN coating reduces friction and heat at the cutting edge
• 140° point angle for accurate centering and reduced thrust
• DIN 6537L geometry with 30° helix for efficient chip evacuation
• Cylindrical shank to DIN 6535 HA, diameter tolerance h7
• Right-hand cut, external cooling, 2 flutes

In daily use

Mount the bit in a collet, hydraulic chuck, or shrink-fit holder and run it at the speeds recommended for the workpiece material. The TiAlN layer withstands temperatures up to 900 °C, so you can push feed rates higher than with uncoated carbide. Use coolant or minimum quantity lubrication to flush chips from the hole; the 30° helix and polished flutes help prevent chip packing in deep holes. For best results, spot-drill with a short carbide center drill before starting the 5xD hole.
