Pelacables Amarillo Lanview LVO231760

The Lanview LVO231760 cable stripper is designed for precise removal of 250 µm coating from fiber optic cables. It has a compact form factor (60 mm × 165 mm × 10 mm), a durable steel handle and bright yellow finish for easy identification in a toolbox. The tool’s spring-relieved mechanism and comfortable rubber grips support controlled, repeatable stripping operations while minimising the risk of damaging the delicate fiber.

Advantages

The spring-relieved design reduces hand fatigue and ensures consistent blade engagement. Rubber handles provide a secure, comfortable grip. Compact dimensions and lightweight steel construction make the tool easy to carry and position in tight workspaces. The bright yellow colour improves visibility and reduces time spent searching for the tool.

Suitable for

• Stripping 250 µm primary coating from fiber optic cables
• Laboratory or workshop preparation of fiber ends for splicing or connectorisation
• Field fibre maintenance where a compact, portable stripper is needed

Key specifications

• Brand: Lanview
• Model / MPN: LVO231760
• EAN: 5704174520320
• Coating capacity: 250 µm (primary fiber coating)
• Handle material: steel
• Dimensions: 60 mm × 165 mm × 10 mm
• Colour: bright yellow

How to use

Place the fiber in the stripping slot sized for 250 µm coating, close the tool to engage the blade and withdraw the stripper along the fibre to remove the coating. The spring-relieved mechanism will open the tool after each cut, enabling repeatable actions. Use the rubber handles to maintain a steady grip and apply controlled pressure to avoid nicking the glass fibre. Inspect the stripped fibre under magnification before splicing or connector installation.

Recommendations

Use appropriate eye protection and work on a clean, stable surface. Do not use the tool on thicker cable jackets or conductors; it is intended specifically for 250 µm fiber primary coating. Replace the blade if cuts become inconsistent or if fibers show signs of damage.
