Pelacables Cimco 100770 Negro Rojo

The Cimco 100770 cable stripper is a compact hand tool designed for removing insulation from round cables with a maximum diameter of 12 mm. Featuring an ergonomic plastic handle and a 170 mm overall length, this cable stripper combines manageable size with a design intended for comfortable, repeated use. The tool's two-color black and red finish provides clear visual contrast for quick identification in a toolbox or on a workbench.

Advantages

This cable stripper offers precise insulation removal for cables up to 12 mm in diameter while minimizing nicking of conductor strands. The ergonomic handle reduces hand fatigue during extended tasks and gives secure grip in different working positions. Its compact 170 mm profile makes it easy to carry and store, and the durable construction is intended for regular use in both professional and DIY environments.

Key specifications

• Maximum cable diameter for stripping: 12 mm
• Overall length: 170 mm
• Handle material: ergonomic plastic
• Color: black and red
• Tool type: manual cable stripper

How to use

Position the cable end into the stripping jaw sized for the cable diameter, align the cutting edge with the desired strip length and close the tool to cut the insulation. Rotate or pull the tool according to the type of insulation to remove the cut section cleanly, taking care not to cut into conductor strands. Maintain a steady grip on the ergonomic handle and use controlled force; for larger or multi-conductor cables use incremental cuts rather than a single deep pass.

Recommendations

Inspect the cutting edges regularly and keep the tool clean and dry. For optimal results, match the strip length and jaw position to the cable size, avoid excessive force that may damage conductors, and store the cable stripper in a dry place away from corrosive chemicals.
