The METZ CONNECT 140302-01-E White cable stripper is a handheld tool engineered for accurate removal of outer insulation from electrical and data cables. Its form factor provides ergonomic handling and stable grip for repeated operations, while construction materials are chosen for durability and long service life. The tool is suitable for professional technicians and installers who require consistent stripping performance across a range of common cable types.

Advantages

The cable stripper offers precise blade control to avoid damage to conductors and insulation, reducing rework. An ergonomic handle design minimizes hand fatigue during extended use, and robust build quality ensures reliable operation in workshop and field conditions. Its neutral white finish makes the tool easy to locate in a kit and visually distinguishes it from other similar tools.

Key specifications

• Handheld cable stripper with ergonomic grip
• Designed for precise removal of outer insulation
• Suitable for a range of common electrical and data cable types
• Durable construction for repeated professional use
• White finish for easy visual identification

How to use

Position the cable in the stripper’s jaws according to the required strip length and close the tool to engage the blade with the insulation. Rotate or pull the tool as appropriate for the cable type to remove the outer sheath cleanly, taking care not to nick or cut conductor strands. Inspect the stripped end and, if necessary, repeat with a shorter or adjusted setting to achieve the desired result. Maintain a steady, controlled motion throughout the operation for consistent outcomes.

Recommendations

Before first use, verify blade condition and replace if worn to maintain stripping accuracy. Use the tool within the intended cable size range and avoid excessive force that may deform the cable or damage conductors. Store in a dry tool case to prevent contamination and inspect regularly for wear.
