Punto de acceso inalámbrico exterior PoE LevelOne N300, gestionado por controlador

The LevelOne WAB-6010 is an outdoor managed single-band 802.11n wireless access point operating on the 2.4 GHz band with up to 300 Mbps wireless capability and an Ethernet LAN supporting 10/100 Mbit/s. The unit supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified installation and is designed with an IP65-rated weatherproof enclosure for reliable outdoor deployment in rain, dust, snow and high temperatures.

Advantages

The access point provides managed deployment options when used with the LevelOne WAC-2000/WAC-2003 Wireless LAN Controller, supports common wireless security methods (64/128-bit WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK), and includes two integrated antennas. PoE power eliminates the need for a local power outlet, while the IP65 housing ensures durability in outdoor environments.

Suitable for

• Outdoor wireless coverage for small to medium public spaces
• Managed networks controlled by LevelOne WAC-2000/WAC-2003 controllers
• Sites requiring PoE installation without nearby power outlets
• Environments exposed to rain, dust or temperature extremes

How to use

Install the WAB-6010 in a suitable outdoor location with clear line of sight to the coverage area, mount it according to the manufacturer instructions, and connect it to a PoE-capable switch or injector. For managed operation, register and configure the access point using a LevelOne WAC-2000 or WAC-2003 Wireless LAN Controller; standalone configuration is possible via the device’s web interface. Configure SSID, security settings (WEP/WPA/WPA2) and channel selection to match site requirements and local regulations.

Recommendations

Place the access point away from large metal obstacles and sources of interference, use WPA2-PSK where possible for stronger encryption, and ensure the mounting position provides adequate drainage and protection from direct debris impact. For larger deployments, manage multiple WAB-6010 units through the LevelOne controller to centralize configuration and monitoring.
