The QSW-L3208-2C6T has six 10GbE RJ45 ports and two SFP+/RJ45 combo ports, allowing flexible fiber (SFP+) and copper (RJ45) connections to a single switch. When using RJ45 ports, Cat 6 or higher cables are recommended to support up to 10GbE, ensuring more efficient data transmission. How to use

Install the switch on a desk or mount it in a rack following the included mounting instructions. Connect servers, NAS devices and workstations to the 10GbE ports using suitable Cat6a/Cat7 cabling for RJ45 links or by inserting SFP+ modules and fiber cables into the SFP+ slots. The combo ports accept either copper or SFP+ connections; only one interface per combo port is active at a time. Power on the unit and verify link/activity LEDs to confirm operational status. No management configuration is required for basic switching functions.

Recommendations

For optimal multi-gigabit performance use Cat6a or higher cabling for copper 10GbE links, and choose certified SFP+ modules and LC fiber rated for 10G where fiber is used. Ensure connected devices support 10GbE or NBASE-T speeds and verify duplex/flow control settings on endpoints if needed.
