Cable HDMI S/CONN 5 m HDMI/HDMI

The ShiverPeaks HDMI Cable S/CONN 5m HDMI/HDMI is a 5-metre high-speed HDMI connection cable designed for transmitting digital video and audio signals between compatible devices. Equipped with standard HDMI Type A connectors plated in gold, the cable supports a data transfer rate of 8.16 Gbit/s and is finished in black. Its length and connector type make it suitable for longer-distance connections in living rooms, conference rooms, or entertainment setups where a reliable HDMI link is required.

Advantages

The cable’s gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors improve contact quality and reduce corrosion over time, helping to maintain stable signal transmission. With a stated data transfer rate of 8.16 Gbit/s, it accommodates high-definition video and multi-channel audio. The 5 m length offers flexible placement of devices without the need for adapters or extenders, and the black finish blends with most AV equipment and interior setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to set-top boxes, media players, or streaming devices
• Linking gaming consoles to monitors or televisions
• Connecting projectors for presentations or home cinema systems
• Extending HDMI connections in living rooms, meeting rooms, or classrooms

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A (standard) — both ends
• Data transfer rate: 8.16 Gbit/s
• Colour: Black
• Connector plating: Gold

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A end of the cable to the HDMI output of your source device (for example a Blu-ray player, gaming console, or set-top box) and the other end to the HDMI input of the display (TV, monitor, or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off when making the connection, then power them on and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. If necessary, adjust display resolution and audio output settings in the device menus to match the capabilities of the connected display.

Recommendations

Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For reliable long-term performance, insert and remove connectors straight and avoid pulling the cable by the cord rather than the connector housing.
