Concentrador USB S/CONN 13-50001 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A 5000 Mbit/s gris

The S/CONN 13-50001 USB Hub from ShiverPeaks is a compact multiport hub with four Type-A ports and USB 3.2 Gen 1 host compatibility, supporting data transfer speeds up to 5000 Mbit/s. Housed in an aluminium casing in grey, the hub combines a slim profile with durable construction to extend a single USB Type-A port into multiple usable connections for peripherals, storage devices and accessories.

Advantages

The aluminium housing provides improved heat dissipation and mechanical protection while keeping the unit lightweight. With USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A host compatibility and mixed hub interfaces, the device supports high-speed data transfer for compatible devices while remaining backward compatible with USB 2.0 peripherals. Its four-port layout enables simultaneous connections without the need for additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting external storage drives and flash drives for file transfer and backup
• Attaching keyboards, mice and other input devices to laptops or desktops with limited ports
• Connecting USB accessories such as webcams, printers or network adapters
• Expanding the number of available Type-A ports on older machines that lack modern connectors

Key specifications

• Ports quantity: 4 Type-A ports
• Host interface: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) Type-A, up to 5000 Mbit/s
• Hub interfaces: combination of USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and USB 2.0 Type-A ports
• Product colour: Grey
• Housing material: Aluminium

How to use

Connect the hub's host plug to a computer's USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-A) port to enable high-speed operation. Insert peripheral devices into the hub's Type-A ports; high-speed devices will operate at USB 3.2 Gen 1 rates where supported, while older USB 2.0 devices will connect at their native speeds. No additional drivers are typically required for modern operating systems; if external drives are used, ensure they are properly mounted and safely ejected before removal.

Recommendations

Place the hub on a stable, well-ventilated surface and avoid stacking heavy objects on top of it to maintain airflow around the aluminium housing. For sustained high-speed transfers, connect directly to a USB 3.2 Gen 1 host port on the computer and avoid long extension cables that can reduce bandwidth and reliability.
