SAI rack EVER RT 1500 T 1500VA para racks de servidores — line-interactive, convertible torre/rack

EVER RT 1500 T is a rackmount UPS with 1500VA capacity designed to protect servers, network equipment and other critical electronics. The unit offers line-interactive voltage regulation combined with battery backup to maintain power during outages and to stabilise supply by correcting under- and over-voltages. Its convertible tower/rack design allows installation in server racks or placement as a freestanding tower, providing flexible deployment for data closets, server rooms and edge installations.

Advantages

The UPS combines automatic voltage regulation with a 1500VA inverter to reduce the frequency of battery discharge during brownouts and minor fluctuations. Its convertible design supports both 19-inch rack mounting and tower placement, simplifying integration into different IT environments. Built-in surge protection and battery-backed outlets offer continuity for critical loads, while straightforward front-panel indicators and audible alarms provide clear status information for administrators.

Suitable for

• Small and medium server racks and network cabinets
• Network switches, routers and firewalls
• Workstations, NAS devices and storage enclosures
• VoIP PBX systems and point-of-sale terminals

Key specifications

• Output capacity: 1500 VA (approx. rated power suitable for mixed server and network loads)
• Topology: Line-interactive with automatic voltage regulation (AVR)
• Form factor: Rackmount convertible to tower for flexible installation
• Battery backup: Internal rechargeable battery providing runtime during mains failure
• Outlets: Multiple protected and battery-backed outlets for critical equipment
• Surge protection: Integrated surge and transient suppression for connected loads
• Indicators and alarms: Front-panel status LEDs and audible alarm for fault and battery events

How to use

Install the EVER RT 1500 T in a compatible 19-inch rack using the supplied mounting hardware, or place it on a stable surface when used as a tower. Connect critical devices to the battery-backed outlets and non-critical peripherals to surge-only outlets if available. Ensure the UPS is connected to a properly grounded mains supply and powered on to allow initial battery charging. Monitor the front-panel indicators and configure any available shutdown software or network management interface to enable safe automated shutdown of protected systems in the event of extended outages.

Recommendations

Place the unit in a temperature-controlled, dust-free environment with adequate ventilation and avoid installing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Periodically test the battery and replace it according to usage patterns and manufacturer guidance to ensure reliable backup. For racks, allow clearance for airflow and service access and distribute connected loads to avoid overloading individual circuits.
