Salewa Alp Trainer 2 GTX Zapatillas de senderismo para hombre Onyx/Negro UK 11.5 (EU 46.5)

The Salewa Alp Trainer 2 GTX stands apart from typical hiking shoes through its precise blend of alpine approach agility and trekking comfort. Built around the Salewa 3F System, it locks the heel securely while allowing natural ankle flex, giving you confidence on rocky scrambles and long descents alike. The GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining keeps water out without sacrificing breathability, so your feet stay dry from stream crossings to sweaty climbs. A full rubber rand wraps the lower shoe for abrasion protection, while the Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole bites into mixed terrain. With a 15 mm drop and a supportive EVA midsole, this shoe delivers all-day cushioning without dulling ground feel.

Highlights

• GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort waterproof-breathable membrane
• Salewa 3F System for heel support and ankle mobility
• Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole for reliable grip on rock and trail
• Full protective rubber rand guards against scree and abrasion
• Climbing lacing extends to the toe for a precise, adjustable fit
• Salewa Ortholite® footbed adds cushioning and moisture management

In daily use

On the trail, the Alp Trainer 2 GTX feels nimble yet stable. The suede and synthetic upper resists wear while the EVA midsole absorbs impact on hardpack. The climbing lacing system lets you fine-tune tension from toe to ankle, preventing heel slip on steep ascents. When the weather turns, the GORE-TEX® lining keeps feet dry without overheating, and the Ortholite® footbed reduces fatigue over long miles. From alpine approaches to hut-to-hut treks, this shoe transitions seamlessly between technical sections and comfortable walking.
