Salewa Alp Trainer 2 Mid GTX botas de montaña para mujer - negro/negro

The Salewa Women's Alp Trainer 2 is a mid-cut hiking boot that bridges the gap between agile approach shoe and robust alpine trekker. Unlike conventional leather boots that sacrifice sensitivity for support, this model wraps the foot in a suede and synthetic upper with a full protective rubber rand, delivering precise edging on rocky scrambles while still cushioning heavy pack loads. The GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining keeps feet dry without overheating, and the Vibram Alpine Hiking outsole with self-cleaning lugs grips confidently on wet rock, mud, and scree. For via ferrata or technical approaches, the climbing lacing extends to the toe for a locked-in fit, while the Salewa 3F System and anti-rock heel stabilizer provide lateral stability and torsional control. At approximately 455 g per shoe (UK 5), it remains light enough for fast-moving days in the mountains.

In daily use

On the trail, the Alp Trainer 2 shines during long approaches and multi-day treks. The suede leather upper resists abrasion while the synthetic fabric panels reduce weight and dry quickly after stream crossings. The GORE-TEX membrane keeps water out without causing clamminess, thanks to its optimized breathability for higher-output activities. The Vibram outsole's aggressive lug pattern bites into soft ground and sheds mud efficiently, so you won't carry extra weight on your soles. The climbing lacing lets you fine-tune pressure across the instep and toe box, preventing heel slip on steep descents. The 3F System connects the instep, sole, and heel with a flexible wire that adapts to your foot's movement, reducing fatigue over long miles. The Ortholite footbed adds step-in comfort and can be removed for airing or replacement.
