Salewa Botas de senderismo MTN Trainer 2 GTX para mujer - Negro/Bungee Cord - UK 6.5 (EU 40)

Where most hiking shoes compromise between protection and precision, the Salewa Women's MTN Trainer 2 GTX refuses to choose. Built for technical terrain and long alpine days, it pairs a full 360° rubber rand with GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort waterproofing and a climbing lacing system that reaches the toe. This is not a casual trail shoe—it is a tool for mixed mountain routes, rocky approaches, and demanding treks where sure-footedness matters most.

Highlights

• GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining for durable waterproofing and breathability
• Vibram® WTC 2 outsole with aggressive tread for grip on rock and mud
• 3F System and climbing lacing for a secure, precise fit
• Dual-density Bilight midsole for cushioning and stability
• 360° full rubber rand and toe cap for abrasion resistance
• Ortholite® footbed for long-lasting comfort and moisture management
• PFC-free construction for a more sustainable choice

In daily use

On the trail, the MTN Trainer 2 GTX feels immediately supportive. The suede leather and textile upper wraps the foot with a standard fit, while the lacing extends toward the toe for a customizable hold on steep climbs. The 11 mm drop encourages a natural stride, and the medium stiffness balances flex for hiking with rigidity for edging on rock. At approximately 435 g per shoe (UK 5 reference), it remains light enough for all-day wear without sacrificing protection.
