How to use

Mount the Eltako FABH65S-wg at a location with clear exposure to ambient light, avoiding shadows cast by nearby objects or glazed surfaces that could affect measurement accuracy. Connect the sensor to the lighting circuit according to the installation requirements of the site's electrical system, observing local safety regulations and ensuring correct wiring polarity and protection. Configure the sensor’s switching behavior, if applicable, following the manufacturer’s instructions to set appropriate dusk/dawn thresholds for the installation environment. After installation, verify proper operation by observing automatic switching at changing light levels.

Recommendations

Install the sensor where it can sample unobstructed ambient light and avoid mounting near artificial light sources to prevent false triggering. Ensure weatherproof seals and cable entries are correctly fitted to maintain outdoor performance and follow local electrical codes during installation.
