Cable HDMI S/CONN 10-05035 2 m

The S/CONN 10-05035 HDMI cable by ShiverPeaks is a 2 m high-speed HDMI connection cable with HDMI Type A connectors on both ends. Designed to link TVs, monitors, projectors and AV receivers, it supports data rates up to 18 Gbit/s allowing transmission of high-definition video formats including 3D and provides Audio Return Channel (ARC) functionality. Gold-plated contacts are used to improve contact reliability and reduce signal loss, while the black outer jacket offers a discreet appearance for home entertainment and office installations.

Advantages

This HDMI cable supports an 18 Gbit/s data rate which enables smooth delivery of high-bandwidth video and multichannel audio. Compatibility with 3D formats and ARC simplifies connections between displays and audio equipment. The gold-plated contacts help maintain stable signal quality over repeated plug cycles, and the standard HDMI Type A connectors ensure broad compatibility with TVs, monitors, set-top boxes and game consoles. The 2 m length provides flexibility for typical living-room and desk layouts without excess slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting HDTVs, 4K displays and projectors to media players and set-top boxes
• Linking TVs to soundbars or AV receivers using ARC for simplified audio return
• Connecting gaming consoles and PCs to external displays
• Cable runs between wall-mounted displays and nearby AV equipment

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI output of your source device (such as a Blu-ray player, game console or PC) and the other connector to the HDMI input on your display or AV receiver. If using ARC, plug the cable into the HDMI ARC port on both the TV and the compatible audio device and enable ARC in the devices' audio settings. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and secure; avoid forcing the plug at an angle. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends or pinching and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable for distances up to 2 m in typical home and office environments; if you require longer runs or specialized installations, consider active or fibre HDMI solutions. Regularly inspect connectors for dust or debris and clean gently with a dry, lint-free cloth before connecting.
