Cable HDMI S/CONN 10-05065 7,5 m

The ShiverPeaks HDMI Cable S/CONN 10-05065 7.5m is a 7.5-metre HDMI Type A to Type A lead designed for connecting televisions, monitors, projectors and AV receivers over longer distances. It delivers an 18 Gbit/s data transfer rate and supports 3D content and Audio Return Channel (ARC), while gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion. The cable's black exterior and flexible jacket suit home entertainment and professional AV setups where a longer reach is required.

Advantages

This HDMI cable provides high-bandwidth transmission up to 18 Gbit/s, enabling full support for high-definition video and multi-channel audio formats. Gold-plated contacts enhance signal integrity and resist corrosion for stable connections. The 7.5 m length reduces the need for signal extenders in mid-range installations, and the standard HDMI Type A connectors ensure compatibility with most consumer and professional AV equipment. The black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates with existing cabling and fixtures.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV to a Blu-ray player, set-top box or media streamer across a medium-distance run
• Linking a monitor or projector to a computer or laptop when the workspace requires extra cable length
• Integrating AV receivers and soundbars using ARC-capable displays for simplified audio routing
• Home cinema setups where 3D content or high-bandwidth video signals are used

Key specifications

• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Connector type (both ends): HDMI Type A (Standard), male
• Data transfer rate: up to 18 Gbit/s
• Supported features: 3D, Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black

How to use

Plug one HDMI Type A connector into the HDMI output of the source device and the other connector into the HDMI input of the display or AV device. Ensure both devices are powered and set to the appropriate input or output channels. For ARC functionality, enable ARC on both the TV and the audio device in their respective settings menus. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and heavy kinks; maintain gentle curves and secure with cable clips or ties where needed to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable alongside high-power electrical wiring to reduce potential interference. If the installation exceeds recommended bend radii or requires wall concealment, verify that the cable routing does not compress the jacket. When using ARC, confirm both devices support the same ARC implementation and update firmware if audio-handling issues occur.
