The ShiverPeaks S/CONN 13-49045 USB cable is a 3 m USB C to USB C cable supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2 data rates up to 10 Gbit/s. Designed for devices with USB C ports, this black cable provides a single-cable solution for high-speed data transfer and charging between compatible laptops, tablets, smartphones and peripherals. Its 3 metre length offers extended reach for desktop setups, charging from distant outlets, or connecting devices across a workspace.

Advantages

This cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 bandwidth, enabling up to 10 Gbit/s transfer speeds for large file moves and fast syncing. Both ends use USB C connectors for reversible plug orientation and universal compatibility with modern devices. The 3 m length reduces the need for adapters or extension cords and allows more flexible device placement. The black finish provides a neutral appearance that integrates with most setups.

Suitable for

• High-speed file transfer between USB C laptops, external drives and NAS devices
• Charging USB C smartphones, tablets and accessories where cable length matters
• Connecting USB C monitors or docking stations that accept USB C data/charging
• Home and office desk layouts requiring extended reach without signal extenders

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB C to USB C
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbit/s)
• Cable length: 3 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one USB C connector to the host device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) and the other connector to the target device (external drive, dock, monitor or charger). Ensure both devices support USB C and the required USB version for maximum data throughput. For charging, verify the connected power adapter or port provides the appropriate power profile for your device. No drivers are typically required for standard USB data and charging functions.

Recommendations

For best performance, use with devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 2 to achieve the full 10 Gbit/s transfer rate. Avoid tightly bending or kinking the cable near the connectors and route the cable to prevent strain. When using for charging, pair with a USB C power adapter that matches your device’s recommended power delivery specifications.
