Sierra de corona Dedra 08WZ03 8 mm de diámetro para madera y metal

Hole saw Dedra 08WZ03 8 mm diameter for wood and metal is a compact cutting accessory designed for creating precise small-diameter holes in a variety of materials. The tool is intended for use with standard drills and provides a focused cutting edge suitable for joinery, metal sheets, thin-walled pipes and general repair tasks that require an 8 mm opening. Its small size supports accurate positioning and reduces material waste when drilling pilot or finish holes.

Advantages

The 8 mm hole saw offers a robust cutting geometry for both wood and metal, enabling consistent hole quality with minimal burrs when used at appropriate speeds. Its compact diameter improves control and accuracy during drilling and requires less power from the drill compared with larger cutters. The accessory is compatible with common drill chucks and can be quickly fitted and removed, simplifying workflow on jobs that alternate between materials.

Suitable for

• Drilling small holes in wooden panels, doors and furniture components
• Creating openings in thin metal sheets and light-gauge steel
• Making holes in pipes and conduits for cable or fastening passage
• General DIY and repair tasks where precise 8 mm holes are needed

Key specifications

• Cutting diameter: 8 mm
• Designed material compatibility: wood and metal
• Suitable for use with standard handheld drills
• Compact cutting head for precise small-diameter holes

How to use

Fit the hole saw into the drill chuck according to the drill manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring a secure connection. Mark the drilling point on the workpiece and, if possible, clamp the material to prevent movement. Start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed moderately for metal and maintain steady pressure; for wood, a higher speed can be used while controlling feed to avoid splintering. Withdraw the cutter periodically to clear chips and prevent overheating when cutting metal.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection and gloves. For best results in metal, apply cutting lubricant and avoid excessive force to extend the life of the hole saw. When drilling thin or fragile materials, support the workpiece to reduce deformation and achieve a cleaner edge.
