How to use

Install the UPS on a stable, level surface or mount it in a rack according to the product manual. Connect critical devices to the battery‑backed AC outlets and noncritical equipment to any load‑shedding or EcoControl outlets as required. Connect the UPS to a host computer via the USB port and install Eaton UPS Companion software to enable automatic, safe shutdown and to configure energy metering and other settings. Regularly check the LCD for status, load and battery measurements.

Recommendations

Place the UPS in a well-ventilated area away from heat sources, perform periodic battery tests per the manufacturer’s instructions, and replace batteries at the end of their service life.
