Switch de red Zyxel XS1935-12F-ZZ0101F — 12 puertos, Smart Managed, 10x 10G SFP+ y 2x 10G RJ45

Zyxel XS1935-12F-ZZ0101F is a 12-port smart managed network switch that combines ten 10G SFP+ uplink/stacking ports with two 10G RJ45 copper ports. It is intended for aggregation and high-speed uplinks in small to medium enterprise and data center edge environments. The switch provides managed switching features such as VLANs, QoS and traffic control to deliver reliable 10GbE connectivity for servers, storage and core networking.

Advantages

The device offers a compact 12-port configuration with mixed 10G SFP+ and 10G RJ45 connectivity, enabling flexible deployment for optical uplinks or copper-based 10G links. Smart managed capabilities allow configuration of VLAN segmentation and QoS policies to prioritise critical traffic. The combination of multiple 10GbE ports supports aggregation of server or storage connections and simplifies high-performance access or distribution layers in constrained racks.

Suitable for

• Aggregation and uplink switching in small to medium enterprise networks
• Data center edge where multiple 10GbE connections are required
• High-speed connectivity for servers and storage arrays
• Environments requiring VLAN segmentation and QoS

Key specifications

• Ports: 10 × 10G SFP+ ports and 2 × 10G RJ45 ports
• Switch type: Smart managed switch with VLAN and QoS support
• Performance: 10 Gigabit Ethernet per port for uplink and access
• Form factor: 12-port rackable switch suitable for access or aggregation roles

How to use

Install the switch in a rack or on a shelf and connect appropriate SFP+ transceivers or DAC cables to the 10G SFP+ ports, or use CAT6A/CAT7 cabling for the 10G RJ45 ports. Use the management interface to configure VLANs, QoS policies and traffic control according to your network design. Connect servers, storage or upstream core devices to the 10GbE ports to establish high-speed links. Monitor traffic and adjust settings via the switch management tools to maintain performance and stability.

Recommendations

For stable 10GbE performance, use certified SFP+ modules or compatible DACs in the SFP+ ports and ensure copper cabling for 10G RJ45 ports meets 10GBASE-T specifications. Configure VLANs and QoS before production traffic is introduced to prevent misclassification, and monitor link status and utilization regularly to identify bottlenecks.
