Telegärtner Cable de conexión Cat.5e F/UTP apantallado, 20 m, rojo

Network downtime and slow connections are often caused by substandard cabling that fails to maintain signal integrity over distance. The Telegärtner Cat.5e F/UTP Patch Cable solves this by delivering reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance with robust foil shielding, ensuring clean data transmission up to 100 MHz over a full 20-metre run. Its red jacket provides high visibility for easy identification in dense installations, while the snagless molded boots protect the locking tabs during frequent re-patching.

Who is it for

This cable is ideal for IT professionals, network administrators, and home users who need a dependable, long-distance connection between patch panels, switches, routers, computers, and other network devices. It is particularly suited for structured cabling in offices, server rooms, and industrial environments where electromagnetic interference (EMI) can degrade performance.

Main features

• Category 5e performance with F/UTP shielding: overall foil screen reduces alien crosstalk and EMI.
• 20-metre length for flexible placement of equipment across rooms or between racks.
• Red PVC jacket for high visibility and easy colour-coding of network segments.
• Shielded RJ45 connectors with molded snagless boots protect clips and ensure secure connections.
• Stranded copper conductors (AWG 26/7) provide flexibility and durability for repeated bending.
• Supports 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+) up to 30W.
• Wired to TIA/EIA-568B standard for consistent, error-free terminations.

Tips

To maximise performance, avoid sharp bends and do not exceed the minimum bend radius of approximately four times the cable diameter. When routing near power lines, maintain at least 30 cm separation to minimise interference. For permanent installations, consider using cable ties or Velcro straps to secure the cable without compressing the jacket.
