tesa Professional 53988-00031-00 cinta aislante eléctrica, azul, 20 m x 19 mm, PVC, ignífuga

For electricians and maintenance teams who need dependable insulation without the bulk, the tesa Professional 53988-00031-00 stands out with its slim 0.15 mm PVC profile and rubber-based adhesive that bites instantly on copper, aluminium, and most cable jackets. Unlike generic vinyl tapes that lift at the edges or tear under tension, this blue 20 m roll is engineered for clean, consistent wrapping on splices, terminal blocks, and harness repairs up to 600 V. The self-extinguishing PVC body and 7 kV dielectric strength provide a genuine safety margin in distribution boards, control cabinets, and field installations, while the colour-coded blue makes phase identification and circuit marking immediate.

Highlights

• Professional-grade PVC insulation tape in signal blue for clear phase and circuit marking
• Rated up to 600 V with 7 kV dielectric strength and self-extinguishing flame-retardant body
• Strong rubber-based adhesive delivers 2.5 N/cm adhesion to steel and stays put from -5 °C to +90 °C
• 20 m length × 19 mm width × 0.15 mm thickness balances coverage, flexibility, and easy tear-by-hand application
• Good UV resistance and RoHS compliance for long-term indoor and protected outdoor use

In daily use

Wrap, bundle, repair, or colour-code with one tape that handles the job without flagging. The 19 mm width covers typical wire gauges and terminal strips without excessive overlap, while the 220 % elongation lets you stretch the tape into tight corners and irregular shapes for a smooth, void-free finish. Because the adhesive is rubber-based rather than acrylic, it grabs quickly even in cool conditions and resists lifting on oily or slightly dusty surfaces. Electricians appreciate the clean tear edge—no scissors needed—and the blue colour stays vivid under workshop lighting, making it easy to distinguish phases, neutrals, or maintenance tags at a glance. For outdoor junction boxes or UV-exposed cable runs, the tape’s good ultraviolet resistance delays cracking and fading compared to standard economy vinyl.
