Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location away from direct sunlight and rain for accurate readings. For best wireless reception, avoid thick walls or metal obstacles between the sensor and the main unit. Use the min/max memory to track temperature trends over time, and set the frost alarm to alert you when outdoor temperatures approach freezing.
