TP-Link EAP113-Outdoor 300 Mbit/s blanco Power over Ethernet (PoE)

The TP-Link EAP113-Outdoor 2.4 GHz is an outdoor access point designed to extend stable Wi‑Fi coverage in open and semi-open environments. Operating on the 2.4 GHz band with a maximum data rate of 300 Mbit/s, the unit features two detachable omnidirectional antennas, a weatherproof IP65 enclosure and flexible mounting options for pole or wall installation. It supports both 802.3af PoE and 48V passive PoE, simplifying installation by allowing power and data over a single cable, and integrates with the Omada SDN platform for centralized management.

Advantages

The device provides long-range wireless coverage of up to 200 meters in outdoor settings thanks to high transmission power and two high-gain omnidirectional antennas. Its compact, cell-phone-like housing and detachable antennas make it suitable for mixed indoor/outdoor deployments. The IP65-rated enclosure protects the access point from dust and water, while PoE support (802.3af and 48V passive) enables easy installation with minimal cabling. Integration with the Omada SDN platform and the Omada mobile app allows centralized configuration, monitoring and client management from a single interface.

Suitable for

• Extending Wi‑Fi coverage in outdoor public areas (parks, courtyards)
• Providing connectivity for outdoor seating and terraces
• Wi‑Fi for small campuses, parking lots or perimeter coverage
• Mixed indoor/outdoor scenarios where discreet hardware is required

Key specifications

• Frequency band: 2.4 GHz (IEEE 802.11b/g/n)
• Maximum data rate: 300 Mbit/s
• Antennas: 2 detachable omnidirectional
• Ethernet: 1 × RJ‑45 LAN port, supports 802.3af PoE and 48V passive PoE
• Ingress protection: IP65
• Dimensions: 214.9 × 46 × 37.7 mm

How to use

Mount the EAP113‑Outdoor on a pole or wall using the supplied mounting kit. Attach the included omnidirectional antennas or replace them with compatible alternatives if required. Connect one Ethernet cable to the RJ‑45 port and provide power via a PoE switch or a 48V passive PoE adapter. Use the Omada app or the Omada SDN controller to perform initial configuration, set SSID and security (for example WPA2‑Enterprise), and monitor device status.

Recommendations

For optimal outdoor coverage, install the access point at a raised, unobstructed location and orient antennas vertically. Verify local regulations for outdoor wireless deployment and use shielded Ethernet cabling and proper weatherproofing for cable entries to maintain IP65 protection.
