Unidad de distribución de corriente Eaton MBP11KIG2 — PDU modular 3U, 11000 VA, negro

The Eaton MBP11KIG2 — Modular PDU 3U, 11000 VA, Black is a rack-mounted power distribution unit designed for 3U installation in data centre racks and server rooms. It provides an 11,000 VA load capacity and supports Eaton 9PX 6/8/11 kVA (3:1) systems. The unit features HotSwap (maintenance bypass) capability, hardwired input, four C39 output connectors plus a hardwired output option, and includes a rack-mounting kit. Certified to IEC/EN 62040 standards and marked with CE and UKCA, this PDU is intended to manage and redirect power during maintenance while preserving uptime for connected equipment.

Advantages

The modular design allows integration into existing rack systems without requiring full UPS replacement and supports HotSwap operations to perform maintenance with minimal disruption. Compact 3U form factor and a weight of 4.6 kg make it straightforward to install in standard server racks. The mix of C39 outputs and hardwired connections offers flexible power distribution options for a variety of server and network equipment. Compliance with IEC/EN 62040 and the presence of CE and UKCA markings indicate adherence to relevant safety and performance standards.

Suitable for

• Data centre racks requiring modular maintenance bypass and reliable power routing
• Server rooms where HotSwap access is needed to service UPS systems without downtime
• Small to medium enterprise racks integrating Eaton 9PX series UPS devices
• Installations that require a compact 3U PDU with mixed hardwired and C39 outputs

How to use

Mount the Eaton MBP11KIG2 in a standard 19-inch rack using the included rack-mounting kit and secure all fasteners according to rack manufacturer instructions. Connect the hardwired input to the appropriate upstream power source following local electrical codes and ensure the input is isolated during installation. Route outputs to connected equipment using the provided C39 sockets or the hardwired output as required. When performing maintenance on an associated UPS, engage the HotSwap maintenance bypass to transfer load and allow service or replacement without interrupting power to critical loads. Verify all connections and test the bypass function after installation.

Recommendations

Install and commission the device by a qualified electrician or data centre technician, follow local electrical regulations, and perform periodic inspections of connections. Use the HotSwap maintenance bypass only as part of a planned procedure, and label circuits clearly to avoid accidental disconnection during service. Ensure compatibility with the Eaton 9PX UPS models specified for proper operation.
