Unidad de distribución de corriente GEMBIRD EG-PDU-014 — 8× tomas Type-F, 16 A, cable de 3 m, rack 1U, 3680 W, negro

The Gembird EG-PDU-014 is a 1U rack-mounted power distribution unit designed to deliver reliable AC power to multiple devices within server cabinets and network racks. Constructed with an aluminum housing finished in black, this PDU provides eight AC outlets and a 3-metre power cable, supporting a maximum current of 16 A and a total power capacity of 3680 W at 50 Hz. The compact 1U form factor makes it suitable for installation in standard 19-inch racks where space-efficient, centralized power distribution is required.

Advantages

The unit’s aluminum housing offers mechanical durability and low weight while resisting corrosion. With eight AC outlets and a long 3-metre cable, the EG-PDU-014 simplifies cabling and allows flexible device placement inside the rack. A maximum current rating of 16 A and a total power capacity of 3680 W provide predictable power delivery for small to medium rack installations. The 1U format enables mounting in limited vertical space without sacrificing outlet count.

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the PDU in a standard 19-inch rack occupying a single 1U space, securing it with appropriate rack screws or brackets. Route the attached 3-metre cable to a compatible mains outlet and ensure the mains supply can provide up to 16 A. Plug the rack equipment into the eight AC outlets, observing the aggregated power limits so the total connected load does not exceed 3680 W. Periodically inspect the housing, cable and outlet connections for signs of wear or damage and power down equipment before performing any maintenance.

Recommendations

Distribute connected devices across the outlets to balance load and avoid concentrating high-current equipment on a single outlet. Confirm the rack’s cooling and ventilation are adequate for the installed equipment and verify mains wiring and protective devices (fuses/circuit breakers) are rated to handle the PDU’s maximum current.
