Cable coaxial 1 m IEC ShiverPeaks SP-PROFESSIONAL

The ShiverPeaks SP-PROFESSIONAL coaxial cable, 1 meter in length with IEC connectors, is designed to deliver reliable signal transmission for audio and video equipment. Constructed to minimise signal loss and interference, the cable combines a robust mechanical build with an aesthetic blue, gold and grey finish suitable for professional installations. Its one-metre length provides a compact connection solution for set-ups where short, high-quality runs are required.

Advantages

The cable offers consistent impedance and shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and preserve signal integrity across audio and video frequencies. High-quality IEC connectors ensure secure mating and long-term mechanical reliability, while the durable jacket protects internal conductors from wear and handling. The visible colour scheme aids in cable identification in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs, set-top boxes and radio receivers to wall outlets or distribution amplifiers
• Short-run audio/video interconnections in home theatre and studio racks
• Professional installations where a reliable IEC coaxial link is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 metre
• Connector type: IEC coaxial male-to-female compatible connectors
• Shielding: multi-layer shielding to reduce EMI/RFI
• Impedance: designed for stable characteristic impedance suitable for consumer audio/video signals
• Outer jacket: durable protective jacket with blue, gold and grey colour scheme

How to use

Align the IEC connectors with the mating device’s inlet and push gently until the connector seats securely. Ensure connectors are fully inserted to maintain optimal contact and signal transfer. For best results, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable, and route it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power supplies or large electric motors.

Recommendations

For stable audio and video performance, use this 1m coaxial cable for short connections between devices in the same rack or close proximity. Periodically inspect the connectors and jacket for damage, and replace the cable if shielding or conductor integrity appears compromised.
