Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 3m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 3m HDMI cable is a 3-metre connection solution designed for transmitting digital audio and video between HDMI Type A devices. Featuring standard HDMI Type A connectors with gold plating and a maximum data transfer rate of 8.16 Gbit/s, this black cable supports stable signal transmission over a modest distance and integrates unobtrusively into home or office AV setups.

Advantages

The cable's gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors reduce contact resistance and help maintain consistent signal quality. With a 3 m length, it balances reach and manageability for typical living-room, workspace or conference-room layouts. The rated transfer speed of 8.16 Gbit/s provides reliable delivery of high-definition video and multichannel audio between compatible source and display devices. Its black finish offers a neutral appearance that fits most equipment arrangements.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop or desktop computer to an external monitor or TV
• Linking a Blu‑ray player, media streamer or game console to a TV or AV receiver
• Integrating into a home office or conference-room AV setup where a 3 m cable is sufficient
• Replacing or extending an existing HDMI connection within the same room

Key specifications

• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Data transfer rate: up to 8.16 Gbit/s

How to use

Ensure both source and display devices are powered off or in standby before connecting. Insert each HDMI Type A connector fully into the corresponding HDMI ports on the source device (for example a laptop, media player, or console) and the display device (monitor, TV, or AV receiver). After connections are secure, power on the devices and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. If necessary, adjust resolution and audio output settings on the source device to match the capabilities of the connected display or audio system.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable or running it alongside high-power electrical cables for extended lengths; gentle routing and moderate separation from power lines help reduce potential interference. Check device settings to confirm supported resolutions and refresh rates, and replace the cable if physical damage to the connectors or insulation becomes visible.
