Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks BS77470-2 1 m Type-A a Type-C

The ShiverPeaks BS77470-2 HDMI Cable 1m Type A to Type C is a one-metre interconnect designed for video and audio transmission between devices with a standard HDMI Type A output and equipment with a mini HDMI Type C input. Both ends are male connectors with gold-plated contacts to reduce oxidation and maintain consistent signal transfer. The cable supports 3D video formats and common HDMI resolutions, and its compact, black jacket suits home and professional AV setups where a short, reliable connection is needed.

Advantages

This HDMI cable combines a compact mini HDMI Type C plug with a full-size Type A plug to enable direct connection without adapters. Gold-plated contacts provide corrosion resistance and improved electrical contact for stable digital video and audio transmission. At one metre length the cable minimizes signal attenuation and clutter behind devices while providing sufficient reach for close-range setups. The black outer sheath offers a neutral appearance that integrates with most AV equipment and reduces visibility in media cabinets.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting cameras, camcorders or tablets with mini HDMI (Type C) outputs to TVs or monitors with standard HDMI inputs
• Short-range connections between laptops or portable devices and external displays for presentations or playback
• Home theatre or desktop setups where a compact cable run is preferred to reduce tangling
• Transmitting 3D video content and standard high-definition signals between compatible devices

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off or in a stable state before connecting to avoid hot-plugging issues. Insert the HDMI Type C (mini) plug into the mini HDMI port of the source device such as a camera or tablet, and insert the HDMI Type A plug into the HDMI input of the display or TV. Power on the devices and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. Adjust display resolution and audio output settings on the source device as needed to match the display capabilities.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for direct short connections up to one metre and avoid tight bends or kinks near the connectors. Keep the connectors free of dust and insert or remove the cable by gripping the connector housings rather than pulling the cable sheath. If you encounter handshake or resolution issues, try a different HDMI input on the display or power-cycle the connected devices.
