Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks BS77475-E 5 m

The ShiverPeaks BS77475-E HDMI Cable 5m is a 5-metre HDMI Type A to Type A cable designed for transmitting high-definition audio and video between source devices and displays. It features gold-plated contacts and a data transfer rate of 13.364 Gbit/s, providing reliable signal transmission for home and professional entertainment setups. The cable supports 3D video formats and comes in a black finish suitable for most AV installations.

Advantages

Gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and help maintain consistent connectivity over time. The 5 m length allows flexible placement of TVs, projectors or consoles without immediate need for signal extenders. A 13.364 Gbit/s transfer rate supports high-definition video and multichannel audio while the standardized HDMI Type A connectors ensure compatibility with a broad range of AV devices. The black exterior minimizes visual distraction in typical home or office setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting Blu-ray players, set-top boxes and media streamers to HDTVs
• Linking gaming consoles to large-screen TVs or projectors
• Connecting laptops or PCs to external monitors and projectors
• Home theater and AV system wiring where a 5 m reach is required

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A male end to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, game console or PC) and plug the other end into the HDMI input of the display device such as a TV or projector. Ensure both devices are powered off or that the display is set to the correct HDMI input before powering on to allow automatic signal handshake. If the image or sound does not appear, check that both connectors are fully seated and try a different HDMI input on the display or a different source device to isolate the issue.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and kinks in the cable path and keep the cable away from large sources of electrical interference. Use the 5 m length to position devices with adequate airflow and secure cable routing to prevent accidental disconnection. If using long runs combined with high-resolution formats, verify device compatibility for bandwidth and resolution settings.
