Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks BS77475-LDN 5 m

The ShiverPeaks BS77475-LDN HDMI Cable 5m is a 5-metre male-to-male HDMI Type A cable designed for transmitting high-definition audio and video signals between compatible devices. It supports 3D video and provides a data transfer capability up to 13.364 Gbit/s. The cable has gold-plated contacts and a black jacket, offering reliable connectivity for home entertainment systems, monitors, projectors and other HDMI-enabled equipment.

Advantages

This HDMI cable offers a long 5 m length that permits flexible device placement without signal repeaters. Gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and help maintain consistent electrical contact over time. With support for 3D video and a data transfer rate of 13.364 Gbit/s, the cable can handle high-definition video streams and multichannel audio formats typical of modern AV setups. The standard Type A male connectors ensure wide compatibility with TVs, Blu-ray players, game consoles and AV receivers.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs and home theatre receivers over short to medium room distances
• Linking computers or laptops to external monitors or projectors
• Connecting game consoles to displays for high-definition video and audio
• Temporary or permanent AV installations where a 5 m HDMI run is required

How to use

Insert one HDMI Type A male connector into the HDMI port of the source device (for example, a Blu-ray player, streaming box, or game console) and insert the other end into the HDMI input on the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting to avoid hot-plug issues, then power them on and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. For optimal signal quality, avoid tight bends in the cable and keep it away from strong electromagnetic interference sources.

Recommendations

For stable performance, route the cable without sharp kinks and avoid running it alongside power cables. If connecting between devices across longer distances than 5 m, consider an active HDMI solution or signal booster. Regularly inspect gold-plated contacts and gently clean them if necessary to maintain reliable connections.
