Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks BS77478-20-E 20 m

The ShiverPeaks BS77478-20-E HDMI cable is a 20 m high-speed connector cable with HDMI Type A plugs on both ends designed for long-distance digital audio and video transmission. It supports a data transfer rate of 8.909 Gbit/s and 3D content, providing compatibility with TVs, projectors, AV receivers and gaming consoles. The cable uses gold-plated contacts and a black outer jacket to ensure stable connectivity and a discreet appearance in home or professional installations.

Advantages

This 20 m HDMI cable offers reliable signal transfer over extended distances while maintaining support for high-definition video and multichannel audio. Gold-plated contacts reduce oxidation and improve electrical contact integrity. The HDMI Type A connectors ensure broad compatibility with standard HDMI ports on consumer and professional devices. The cable’s length lets you place source and display devices apart without the need for additional extenders or adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting televisions to set-top boxes, Blu-ray players or media players in living rooms and home theaters
• Linking projectors to laptops or media players in meeting rooms and classrooms
• Connecting gaming consoles to displays where the console and screen are placed at a distance
• Integrating AV receivers and soundbars with displays in home or small commercial AV setups

• Data transfer rate: 8.909 Gbit/s
• 3D content support: yes

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A plug to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a set-top box, Blu-ray player, PC or console) and plug the other end into the HDMI input of the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting to avoid hot-plug issues, then power them on and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. If the display does not detect the signal, check cable seating at both ends and verify device HDMI settings and resolution compatibility.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable or placing it near strong electromagnetic sources (large transformers, power cables) that could introduce interference. Route the cable to prevent sharp bends and excessive tension at the connector ends. When used in fixed installations, allow some slack near connection points and periodically inspect connectors for dust or corrosion despite the gold plating.
