Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks BS77478-15 15m

The ShiverPeaks BS77478-15 HDMI Cable is a 15 m HDMI Type A to Type A connection designed for transmitting audio and video signals between source devices and displays. With a rated data transfer speed of 13.3 Gbit/s and gold-plated contacts, this black cable is intended to provide stable signal transmission over extended runs where longer cable length is required. It is suitable for installations that need a single-cable digital connection between TVs, projectors, gaming consoles and other HDMI-equipped devices.

Advantages

The cable’s 15 m length allows flexible placement of source and display components without relying on wireless connections. Gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and maintain reliable electrical contact over time. A rated data throughput of 13.3 Gbit/s supports high-definition video and multichannel audio formats within the limits of the cable’s specification. The standard HDMI Type A connectors on both ends ensure compatibility with a wide range of consumer electronics.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to set-top boxes or media players across longer distances
• Linking projectors to laptops or AV receivers in presentation and classroom settings
• Connecting gaming consoles to large-screen TVs or capture devices
• Home theater component connections where a 15 m HDMI run is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A to HDMI Type A
• Data transfer rate: 13.3 Gbit/s
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a set-top box, media player, laptop or gaming console) and the other HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI input of the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off when making the physical connection, then power them on and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. If signal issues occur, check that connectors are fully seated and that the cable run avoids sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and kinks along the 15 m length and route the cable away from mains power cables and large electrical equipment. Keep connector contacts free of dust and inspect gold-plated ends periodically. For setups requiring signal amplification or longer runs than 15 m, consider active HDMI solutions or signal extenders compatible with the source and display capabilities.
