Cable HDMI ShiverPeaks BS77478-E 10 m

The ShiverPeaks BS77478-E HDMI Cable 10m provides a long-reach connection between HDMI-equipped devices. This black cable uses male HDMI Type A connectors on both ends and supports a data transfer rate of 8.909 Gbit/s with gold-plated contacts to reduce corrosion and maintain reliable signal transfer over its 10-metre length. It is designed for video and audio transmission between sources and displays where a durable, extended cable run is required.

Advantages

The cable’s 10 m length allows flexible placement of TVs, projectors, gaming consoles and source devices without compromising signal quality. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and resistance to oxidation, while the male Type A connectors ensure compatibility with standard HDMI ports. The cable’s black jacket provides a neutral appearance that integrates easily into home entertainment and professional AV setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a TV to a set-top box or media player across a room
• Linking a projector to a laptop or AV receiver in classrooms or meeting rooms
• Extending the reach for gaming consoles or streaming devices to a display
• Home cinema and multimedia installations requiring a 10 m cable run

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 metres
• Connector type: HDMI Type A (male) on both ends
• Data transfer rate: 8.909 Gbit/s
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Colour: black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A male connector to the HDMI output of the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, gaming console, media player or laptop) and the other end to the HDMI input of the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure connectors are fully inserted into the ports to establish a stable connection. If using in a rack or behind furniture, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid tight bends and kinks in the cable and keep the connectors free of dust. When running the cable near power lines or other sources of electrical interference, maintain some separation to reduce the risk of signal degradation. The cable is intended for passive HDMI connections; for very long runs or installations requiring signal boosting or extension over different media, consider an active HDMI extender or fibre-based solution.
