Cable riser Akasa RISER Negro X2 Premium PCIe 3.0 x16 20 cm

The Akasa RISER BLACK X2 Premium PCIe 3.0 x16 20CM is a flexible riser cable designed to extend and reposition a PCIe x16 slot within a PC chassis. With a 20 cm length and full x16 lane support using PCIe 3.0 signaling, this cable provides a stable electrical connection between the motherboard and a discrete graphics card or other x16 expansion card while enabling alternative component layouts and improved internal airflow.

Advantages

The riser cable combines a 180° PCIe 3.0 x16 female connector and a 180° PCIe 3.0 x16 male connector to maintain correct orientation and minimize mechanical stress on the board and card. Its construction is intended to preserve signal integrity for PCIe 3.0 speeds while reducing cable clutter inside the case. The 20 cm length offers flexibility for varied mounting positions without compromising a full x16 electrical interface.

Suitable for

• Repositioning a graphics card for better airflow or fitting into compact or custom PC builds
• Using a vertically mounted GPU bracket or riser mount
• Systems where cable routing constraints require a flexible PCIe extension

Key specifications

• Interface: PCIe 3.0 x16 (electrical x16 lanes)
• Length: 20 cm
• Connector A: 180° PCIe 3.0 x16 female
• Connector B: 180° PCIe 3.0 x16 male
• Orientation: 180° on both connectors for low-profile routing

How to use

Install the Akasa RISER BLACK X2 by firmly seating the male PCIe x16 connector into the motherboard slot and attaching the female connector to the graphics card or expansion card. Ensure both ends are aligned and fully inserted to secure the electrical connection. Route the cable within the case to avoid sharp bends and keep it clear of cooling fans and moving parts. Verify that the card is properly supported in its new position to prevent undue mechanical strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this riser cable in conjunction with proper mounting hardware or bracketry when vertically mounting a GPU, and avoid excessive bending or twisting of the cable. Confirm compatibility of the motherboard and expansion card with PCIe 3.0 x16 electrical requirements. If system stability issues occur after installation, recheck connector seating and cable routing before testing other components.
