Cable SATA DeLOCK 84972 0,3 m SATA 7-pin negro azul

SATA 6 Gb/s receptacle straight > SATA plug straight 30 cm blue latchtype cable by Delock (model 84972) is a 0.3 m SATA III 7‑pin cable for connecting SATA devices. The cable supports data transfer rates up to 6 Gb/s and is downward compatible with earlier SATA versions. It has a metal clip on the receptacle and a corresponding clearance on the plug to ensure a secure, audible click when connected.

Advantages

The DeLOCK SATA cable provides a compact 0.3 m length that reduces internal cable clutter while maintaining full SATA III performance. Its metal latch mechanism and precise connector clearance ensure a stable mechanical connection. The cable’s construction supports reliable data transmission up to the SATA III standard and works with SATA 7‑pin ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting internal SSDs and HDDs to a motherboard SATA port
• Extending or replacing short SATA connections inside desktop PCs
• Use in compact builds where a short cable is preferred to improve airflow and cable management

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model: 84972
• Standard: SATA III (up to 6 Gb/s), backward compatible
• Connectors: SATA 7‑pin receptacle straight to SATA 7‑pin plug straight
• Cable length: 0.3 m
• Colour: Black, Blue

How to use

Align the SATA plug and receptacle with the device and motherboard SATA 7‑pin ports and press until the metal latch clicks into place to ensure a secure connection. For removal, press the latch to release and gently pull the connector straight out. Use the cable for internal SATA connections only and avoid excessive bending or pulling to prevent damage to the connectors or the cable.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this 0.3 m SATA cable to connect drives located near the motherboard to minimize excess cable length. Ensure both devices support SATA III to achieve the full 6 Gb/s transfer rate; otherwise the connection will operate at the maximum supported speed of the slower device.
