Caja eléctrica Rittal KX 1528.000 — armario de acero, 200×80×150 mm, IP66

Rittal KX 1528.000 is a steel electrical enclosure with dimensions 200×80×150 mm and IP66 protection rating. Designed to house electrical and electronic components, this compact cabinet provides dust-tight and water-resistant protection for indoor and outdoor installations. The enclosure is suitable for mounting control units, junctions, terminal blocks and small instrumentation where a robust, corrosion-resistant steel housing is required.

Advantages

The steel construction offers mechanical strength and long-term durability while the IP66 rating ensures reliable protection against dust and strong water jets. Its compact footprint allows installation in confined spaces without sacrificing component accessibility. The enclosure's flat surfaces and standardized mounting options simplify fitting of internal panels, DIN rails or mounting plates. Corrosion-resistant finishes and precise manufacturing tolerances contribute to predictable installation and maintenance.

How to use

Prepare mounting location and ensure compatible mounting hardware is available. Open the enclosure and fit the required internal mounting plate, DIN rails or brackets before wiring. Install components such as terminal blocks, control units or small instrumentation in the internal space, leaving service clearance for connections. Route cables through appropriate gland entries or conduit adapters, using approved seals to maintain the IP66 rating. After wiring and functional checks, close and secure the cover to restore full protection.

Recommendations

For reliable IP66 performance, use appropriate cable glands and seals rated for the same protection class, tighten cover fasteners to specified torque, and avoid drilling unauthorized holes in the housing. Choose corrosion-resistant fasteners and, for outdoor or corrosive environments, consider additional protective coatings or maintenance intervals to preserve the enclosure finish and sealing integrity.
