Cerradura electromagnética exterior SCOT EL-350WS 180 kg fuerza de retención con salida de señal

SCOT EL-350WS is an outdoor electromagnetic lock designed for perimeter access points where a 180 kg holding force and door-status feedback are required. The unit is built to be installed on entry doors, gates or other controlled openings and integrates with access control systems, alarms and door controllers. Its fail-secure configuration keeps the door locked while the unit is powered and provides a signal output that reports the lock or door state to monitoring devices.

Advantages

The lock offers a compact outdoor-rated design with a high holding force suitable for light commercial and residential perimeter doors. Built-in signal output allows remote monitoring of door status without additional detectors. The fail-secure operation ensures the door remains locked under normal power conditions, and compatibility with standard access control wiring simplifies integration. Corrosion-resistant materials and weatherproofing details increase reliability in exposed locations.

How to use

Install the electromagnetic lock on the door frame and armature plate on the moving door following the mounting template and manufacturer instructions. Connect the power supply and the signal output to the access control panel or alarm input according to system wiring diagrams. Adjust alignment so the armature plate mates flush with the magnet face for full holding force. Test the lock operation and signal output to verify secure locking and correct status reporting before regular use.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, use a regulated power supply rated for the lock's voltage and current, ensure proper mechanical alignment during installation, and protect electrical connections from moisture. Periodically inspect mounting hardware and the armature surface for wear or debris. When integrating with alarm or access control systems, configure the signal input to correspond with the lock's feedback type to ensure accurate door status reporting.
