DELOCK Tarjeta adaptadora PCI Express x4 a 1x OCuLink externo (SFF-8612), Low-Profile

The DELOCK PCI Express x4 to 1x external OCuLink (SFF-8612) adapter card, low-profile is a compact expansion card that provides a single external OCuLink (SFF-8612) port via a PCIe x4 slot. Designed for systems with limited internal space, the low-profile bracket allows installation in small form factor desktops and HTPCs while enabling connection to external NVMe enclosures or devices that use the SFF-8612 interface. The card exposes NVMe-capable lanes through an external connector to support high-speed storage and peripheral solutions that rely on PCIe connectivity.

Advantages

This adapter card offers a space-efficient way to add an external OCuLink interface without occupying a full-height slot. It uses PCIe x4 lanes to deliver the bandwidth required by external NVMe devices and maintains compatibility with systems that provide available PCIe x4 expansion. The low-profile design simplifies integration into compact cases, and the single external connector reduces cable clutter while providing a direct, external PCIe link.

How to use

Install the adapter into an available PCIe x4 (or compatible x8/x16) expansion slot on the host motherboard, securing it with the low-profile bracket. Connect a compatible OCuLink (SFF-8612) cable from the external connector to the supported NVMe enclosure or device. Ensure the host system firmware and operating system recognize the attached device; additional drivers may be required depending on the external enclosure or NVMe device used. Verify that the chassis provides sufficient airflow and that power requirements for the external device are met through its own supply or connection.
