The ESAB OK 48.00 is a high-quality basic low-hydrogen welding electrode, classified as AWS E7018. It is designed for welding unalloyed and fine-grain steels, offering excellent mechanical properties and impact strength even at low temperatures. This electrode provides a stable arc, self-releasing slag, and is suitable for all welding positions except vertical down.

Low hydrogen content (max. 5 ml/100g weld metal) ensures high resistance to cold cracking. Excellent impact strength down to -40°C. Self-releasing slag reduces cleaning time. Suitable for DC+ and AC (min. 50V) welding current.
