Why choose it

The Omnia 46 stands out for its forgiving arc characteristics and low spatter, reducing post-weld cleanup. Its rutile coating ensures a stable arc even on less-than-perfect surfaces, and the self-releasing slag saves time on multi-pass welds. The electrode performs reliably on both AC and DC power sources, so you can use it with a wide range of welding machines. With high deposition efficiency over 80%, you get more weld metal per electrode, improving productivity.

Ideal use cases

• General fabrication and structural steel welding
• Sheet metal work and thin-gauge materials
• Maintenance and repair in workshops and on-site
• Shipbuilding and marine applications
• Root passes and positional welding

Good to know

Store electrodes in a dry place; re-drying is not generally required, but if damp, bake at 100–110°C for 30–60 minutes. The 2.0 mm diameter is best suited for currents between 50 and 80 A. Always follow safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
