Foco Brennenstuhl 1178020901 20W LED gris IP44 sensor PIR

The Brennenstuhl Floodlight 1178020901 is a 20 W LED wall-mounted luminaire with an integrated PIR motion sensor, designed for efficient indoor and outdoor illumination. Its aluminium housing, safety glass pane and IP44 protection class provide resistance against splash water and foreign bodies. The floodlight incorporates 30 OSRAM SMD LEDs for long service life and an even, wide-area light distribution, while compact dimensions and a metal construction support straightforward wall installation.

Advantages

The 20 W LED lamp combines low energy consumption with a long LED lifespan. An adjustable passive infrared sensor offers automatic activation within a detection range of up to 12 m and a 180° coverage angle. The robust aluminium housing, safety glass and IP44 rating ensure suitability for outdoor use where splash protection is required. The sensor head can be rotated horizontally and vertically and the lighting duration is adjustable from 10 seconds to approximately 4 minutes.

Suitable for

• Entrance areas and porches
• Driveways and carports
• Garden paths and terraces
• Garages and utility rooms

How to use

Mount the floodlight on a stable exterior or interior wall using appropriate screws and anchors (not supplied). Position and fix the unit so the PIR sensor has a clear line of sight over the intended detection zone. Adjust the sensor horizontally and vertically to optimise the 180° coverage, set the twilight threshold and select the required lighting duration between 10 seconds and about 4 minutes. Connect the unit to the mains supply following local electrical regulations; if in doubt, use a qualified electrician.

Recommendations

To ensure reliable motion detection, avoid mounting the sensor opposite heat sources or objects that move in the wind. Regularly check the seal and glass pane for damage to maintain IP44 splash protection.
