GETFORT ARAMID 12J Cable distribuidor de fibra óptica monomodo OS2 de 12 fibras para interior/exterior, 1m, LSZH, amarillo

Fiber optic installations in tight indoor/outdoor spaces often fail due to insufficient tensile strength, poor water resistance, or jackets that emit toxic smoke in a fire. The GETFORT ARAMID 12J 1m distribution cable solves these challenges with aramid yarn reinforcement, a water-blocking central loose tube, and an LSZH jacket that stays safe even in enclosed areas. This short 1-meter segment is ideal for patching within racks, connecting equipment in outdoor cabinets, or creating reliable links in FTTA and campus networks.

Who is it for

Network engineers, data center technicians, and telecom installers who need a rugged, flame-retardant fiber cable for short indoor/outdoor runs. It suits projects requiring 12 single-mode fibers with OS2 performance, such as backbone extensions, antenna feeder links, or temporary high-density connections.

Main features

• 12 fibers in a central loose tube, single-mode OS2 (G.652D) for long-reach, low-loss transmission.
• Aramid yarn reinforcement provides 1500 N installation tensile strength, protecting fibers during pulls.
• LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) yellow jacket: emits no toxic halogens and minimal smoke in fire, safe for confined spaces.
• Water-blocking technology prevents moisture ingress, making the cable suitable for outdoor ducts and direct burial.
• UV-resistant jacket withstands sunlight exposure without degradation.
• Compact 7.0 mm outer diameter with bend radii of 70 mm (installation) and 140 mm (long term) for flexible routing.

Tips

For outdoor runs, protect the cable from direct rodent exposure with conduit or armored variants. When pulling, do not exceed the 1500 N tensile limit and always use a swivel pulling eye to avoid twisting. After installation, allow a service loop of at least 140 mm radius to prevent stress on connectors. Pair with LC or SC connectors for high-density patching; fusion splicing is recommended for permanent links.
