Hama 00205223 Conector coaxial Type-F 1 ud.

The Hama 00205223 Coaxial Connector F-type is a silver-coloured F-to-coax connector designed for reliable connections in audio and video systems. Manufactured by HAMA, this compact connector provides a stable mechanical and electrical interface between F-type devices and coaxial cable, facilitating signal transfer with low interference. The product is supplied in a hanging box for convenient storage and easy access during installation.

Advantages

The connector offers a robust metal construction and a standardized F-type interface that ensures compatibility with common TV, satellite and cable devices. Its compact form factor and silver finish make it unobtrusive in home entertainment installations. The device is intended to maintain consistent contact with coaxial conductors to reduce signal loss and preserve picture and sound quality across audio/video applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting coaxial cable to F-type sockets on TVs, set-top boxes and modems
• Home entertainment systems requiring stable RF signal connections
• Satellite and cable television installations where F-type terminations are needed
• Temporary or permanent joins in AV and RF wiring projects

Key specifications

• Connector type: F (male) to coaxial connection
• Colour: Silver finish
• Material: Metal housing for mechanical stability
• Application: Audio/video and RF signal transmission
• Packaging: Hanging retail box for storage and display

How to use

Strip the coaxial cable to expose the centre conductor and outer braid according to standard coax preparation dimensions. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable end and ensure the centre conductor aligns with the F-type pin contact. Tighten the connector securely by hand or with an appropriate tool until a firm mechanical and electrical connection is achieved. Connect the F-type end to the device's F-type socket, ensuring a snug fit. Check signal quality after installation and re-tighten if necessary.

Recommendations

Use the connector with properly prepared coaxial cable and avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the connector or device socket. For outdoor or high-moisture environments, use additional weatherproofing measures such as sealing tape or weather boots to protect the connection.
