Philips 43PUS8001/12 TV LED Smart 4K Ultra HD Ambilight 43" (108 cm), 3840x2160, Titan OS, Dolby Atmos, HDR10+, negro

The Philips 43PUS8001/12 is a 43-inch (108 cm) 4K Ultra HD LED Smart TV from the 2026 PUS8001 series, combining a 3840x2160 Direct LED panel with Philips' signature 3-sided Ambilight ambient lighting. The Pixel Precise Ultra HD picture engine sharpens detail and upscales lower-resolution content to 4K, while support for HDR10, HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision delivers a wide dynamic range with brighter highlights and deeper shadows. The set runs the Titan OS smart platform for fast, app-based streaming.

Advantages

Three-sided Ambilight projects colour from the top and side edges onto the wall behind the screen, extending the on-screen image into the room and making the television feel larger and more immersive. Titan OS provides a quick, clutter-free interface with direct access to popular streaming apps, and the TV works with both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control. Built-in Apple AirPlay and casting make it easy to share content from a phone or tablet, while 20 W of audio output with Dolby Atmos adds height and space to the sound.

Suitable for

• Everyday viewing of streaming services, broadcast TV and films in a living room or bedroom
• Buyers who want Philips Ambilight ambient lighting at a 43-inch screen size
• HDR movie and series watching via Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HLG sources
• Casual gaming with Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support

How to use

Complete the initial setup by connecting to Wi-Fi or Ethernet and signing in to your Titan OS account to access streaming apps. Connect external sources such as a games console, soundbar or set-top box through the HDMI inputs, and use the eARC/ARC HDMI port or the digital optical output to send audio to an external sound system. Enable Ambilight in the picture settings to extend on-screen colours onto the wall, and select a picture mode (for example Film, Game or Standard) to match what you are watching.

Recommendations

For the best experience, enable HDR-capable apps and a Dolby Vision or HDR10+ source for films, switch to Game mode with ALLM and VRR when using a console, and turn on Ambilight in a dimly lit room to maximise the immersive effect of the 3-sided ambient lighting.
