How to use

Mount the two radios facing each other with a clear line of sight and connect each unit to the local network using the Gigabit Ethernet port. Provide power via a compatible PoE injector or switch that meets IEEE 802.3af. Use the UniFi Controller to adopt the devices, configure the 60 GHz primary link and the 5 GHz redundancy settings, and monitor link status and performance. Allow a few minutes for initial link establishment and automatic optimisation.

Recommendations

Install with unobstructed line of sight and minimal nearby 60 GHz/5 GHz interference. For maximum reliability, align antennas precisely and verify PoE supply capacity. Use the 5 GHz radio as backup in scenarios with occasional 60 GHz attenuation due to weather or obstructions.
