Rodillo de cerdas 3M K80 75x9mm BB-ZS tipo C – Rueda de cerdas para herramienta rotativa, 75×9 mm, abrasivo K80

The 3M Bristle Brush BB-ZS Type C with K80 abrasive, 75×9 mm, is a compact rotary tool bristle wheel designed for controlled surface finishing on metal and other materials. Built for use on handheld rotary tools and bench-mounted equipment, the wheel combines flexible abrasive-filled filaments with a robust mounting hub to deliver consistent finishing, light deburring and cleaning without aggressive stock removal. Its small diameter and narrow face make it suitable for precision work and access to confined areas while maintaining an even surface texture across workpieces.

Advantages

The brush's K80 abrasive ensures balanced cutting and finishing performance, giving predictable material removal and a uniform finish. The bristle construction adapts to contours and irregular surfaces, reducing the risk of gouging while providing consistent blending and edge softening. The compact 75×9 mm size improves access to tight areas and enables precision work on small parts. The wheel is compatible with common rotary tool arbors and bench spindles, allowing quick installation and repeatable results during preparation and finishing operations.

Suitable for

• Surface finishing and texturing of metal components
• Light deburring and removal of burrs on machined parts
• Cleaning and paint or residue removal from small areas
• Blending weld seams and smoothing edges
• Detail work on castings, molds and stamped parts

Key specifications

• Wheel diameter: 75 mm
• Width (face): 9 mm
• Abrasive grade: K80 (medium grit)
• Type: Bristle brush / abrasive-filled filament wheel
• Mounting: designed for rotary tools and bench-mounted spindles
• Typical applications: finishing, light deburring, cleaning, blending

How to use

Fit the bristle wheel to a compatible rotary tool or bench spindle according to the tool manufacturer's safety instructions, ensuring correct arbor size and secure mounting. Run the tool at recommended speeds for small abrasive wheels—avoid excessive rpm that could damage the filaments or cause uneven wear. Apply light, even pressure and move the wheel across the surface with steady strokes; allow the bristles to conform to contours rather than forcing aggressive cuts. Periodically inspect the wheel for wear and replace when bristles no longer provide effective abrasive action.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, gloves and a dust mask. Test on a scrap piece to verify speed and pressure settings before working on production parts. For optimal results on stainless steel or other sensitive alloys, use short passes and moderate pressure to avoid heat buildup and discoloration.
